Michigan: Untamed Paradise is a coffee table book that hones in on some of the state’s most picturesque parks and natural wonders. The purpose is to provide an overview of these places for tourists who may not know much about what Michigan has to offer, and hopefully spark curiosity. The strategy was to provide visual variety, alternating between more copy-focused pages and full-spread photos to keep the reader engaged. The sketches in each spread are included to emphasize the unique natural features of these locations, as well as add to the organic aesthetic present throughout the publication.
